The Celtic Foundation has donated £200,000 to charity, half of which has allegedly gone to the UN World Food Programme to support its work in Gaza. The announcement came after Celtic was investigated in a report by Scottish Sport for Palestine and Professor David Miller for its funding of Zionist causes. The report argued that, among other things, Celtic FC owed Palestinians reparations.

Regarding other recommendations made by the report, neither Celtic FC nor its Foundation has publicly apologised for their role in fundraising for activities connected to ethnic cleansing and the colonisation of Palestine. They have also not apologised to fans.
